All of My Heart

I painted this piece just before I found out I was on the road to open heart surgery. After countless ER visits and sleepless nights, I picked up my brush and painted through the fear. That night, I reminded myself to wear my heart on my head—to lead with courage, vulnerability, and strength. This painting holds all of that. It’s raw, honest, and full of hope. A visual promise to myself that I would survive, that I would make it through. And I did.
