Dog Mountain - PRINT

This piece was painted after a trip to Salvation Mountain, just outside Palm Springs—a wild, off-grid place where people escape the world and live in a kind of beautiful, homeless madness. During COVID, it felt like stepping into another dimension. So far from everything, yet holding so much hope. I remember standing there, surrounded by color and chaos, praying we’d make it through. There was no noise, no news—just sky, dirt, and the quiet hum of survival. This painting holds that feeling of isolation, faith, and the strange beauty of being completely alone in the middle of everything.
