This one’s for the color lovers—the ones who crave depth, emotion, and surprise. After taking a class with an artist I’ve admired for years, something shifted. I started pushing my color techniques further, letting instinct lead, and suddenly… the colors came alive. My process is rooted in layering—one on top of the next, like life itself. Every layer holds something: love, frustration, joy, confusion. Some come fast and easy, others move slow or stop me in my tracks. But that’s what I love—each painting becomes a living metaphor. You never really know what’s underneath until you keep going. You have to trust the process, even when it’s messy. Especially when it’s messy. This piece is a celebration of all of it: the struggle, the breakthroughs, the unexpected harmony that can emerge when you just keep showing up. It’s all in there. Every single layer.
