This painting bloomed from a quiet reckoning. Like all my work, it’s built in layers—emotion, memory, color—woven together like a dream you can almost remember. While I painted, I was sifting through the noise in my own mind. Isolation has a way of distorting things. You start to believe old stories about yourself—ones that were never really true. But slowly, as the layers built, I felt myself soften. I began to zoom out, to breathe, to let go. This painting holds that quiet shift: from doubt to trust, from overthinking to grace, from being too hard on ourselves to remembering that we are already enough.
