This painting is a tribute to Red—the loyal bar dog, perched on the drink counter in front of our glowing cocktail sign. Surrounded by masks, he sits steady and proud, a symbol of calm in the chaos. During COVID, we worked full shifts behind those masks—sweaty, muffled, exhausted—but we kept going. Red never flinched. He reminded us what loyalty looks like, what strength feels like in quiet moments. This piece is for every service worker who showed up, masked up, and held the line. And for the dogs who never left our side.
