About
Sometimes it's really hard for me to leave my warm, safe bed. I like it there. It's quiet. It's protected. But when I do get up—when I step back into the world—this painting is what I'm reaching for. It represents all of the beauty that still exists inside a harsh, noisy, complicated world.
Beauty can be small, like a walk in the park or light hitting a leaf just right. Or it can be huge and life-altering, like an epic trip to India. Both matter. Both remind me that life is worth looking at. With these jungle paintings, I want you to crawl in fully and then look back out from inside them.
I want you to become the eye of the tiger in the jungle. Hidden. Still. Observing. Watching the world without needing to be seen. I want this painting to make you question: what do you notice? What catches your eye when you slow down?
