Breathwork

Breathwork is a series of contemporary acrylic paintings by Bianca Youngers, created from 2025 to 2026. The work grew from a breathwork practice that opened a new sense of connection between the body, the natural world, and the vast space beyond what can be seen.

Through saturated color, layered pigment, shifting forms, and gestural mark-making, Youngers paints experiences that feel emotional, expansive, and alive. The series holds the feeling of moving beyond ordinary thought and into a more spacious awareness, where memory, intuition, and imagination can meet.

These original acrylic paintings reflect a personal practice of healing and attention. They invite viewers to stay with uncertainty, let the mind loosen, and notice the sense of possibility that can emerge in quiet, sustained looking.
