Grounded Earth

Grounded Earth is a 2026 series of original acrylic paintings by Bianca Youngers, inspired by the high-desert landscape around Santa Fe. A long walk through cactus, stone, and open terrain became an invitation to look closely: to recognize the stillness of the land as a kind of presence rather than an absence.

These paintings imagine rocks and earth as witnesses to life—rooted in place, full of personality, and quietly holding what unfolds around them. Organic forms and unexpected creatures emerge through layered color and intuitive mark-making, creating an otherworldly visual language that is at once playful, grounded, and alive.
