I’m a self-taught painter in Portland, Oregon. I started painting in 2020, and honestly, it changed everything. Before that, I had a different career and a very full, stressful life. My body finally said, “Nope.” I had to step away from the work I was doing, and not long after that, I had open-heart surgery.
